Which of these two laptops is best?

If you can find the 2nd one not refurbished then get that one. The 2nd one has better specs overall for computing and it'll run smoothly, but being refurbished means something was wrong with it before. It could be fixed and work fine, but it is more likely to mess up. If you can't find the 2nd one not refurbished then go with the first.
